Test Task Instructions

1. You must have prior experience doing online arbitrage style sourcing to be successful with this task. 
2. Please use your research skills to source 3 to 10 good items as a test. 
3. Choose to source products from any of these categories: 
   
   • Shoes - Rank of 50,000 or Better (in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry Category)
   • Toys & Games - Rank of 95,000 or Better
   • Home & Kitchen - Rank of 110,000 or Better
   • Grocery - Rank of 91,500 or Better
   • Baby - Rank of 36,000 or Better
   • Sports & Outdoors - Rank of 51,000 or Better
   • Office Products - Rank of 59,500 or Better
   • Video Games - Rank of 10,000 or Better
   • Electronics - Rank of 45,000 or Better
   • Health & Personal Care - Rank of 102,500 or Better
   • Lawn & Garden - Rank of 50,000 or Better 
4. You may source items only from US based online stores that ship their products. This can include for example Walmart, Bonton, Belk, Kohls, Sierra Trading Post, Finishline, and similar sites both popular and lesser known. If you have experience sourcing already you may already have a list of favorite sites you use. 
5. Note that we consider listings with size variations, for example shoe product listings of blue shoes in 10 sizes, to be just one find. However, each good color variation would be an individual find. 

Our Key Product Sourcing Criteria

• Only source products with an Amazon rank from the categories listed above.
• Items must have a 40% ROI or greater.
• Items must have a net profit of $9 or greater.
• Your estimated sell price should usually match the lowest current FBA price for the item.
• Amazon FBA sell price should be fairy stable, and NOT recently spiking  to a higher than usual price. You should use Keepa or CamelCamelCamel to determine this.
• Please do not source products that cost more than $100 dollars to buy from the source store.

Secondary Sourcing Criteria

We are sourcing a small amount of items that are a bit lower than our usual criteria. So we still want to source as much of the net $9/40% ROI stuff as possible. But we are also looking for a few lower criteria items each day too.. along the lines of $6-$9 and 30%-40%. They still have to be good items otherwise and have a good price history of course. 

How We Pay

We pay you $1.50 per good find during your test even if you aren't hired. And, when hired you will also continue to receive $1.50 for each product find that matches our criteria. If hired you will be sourcing daily Monday-Friday, and delivering about 10 or more finds per day. We also have a performance bonus when you get 5 or more good items in a day (each item becomes worth $2.00).

For items that meet our secondary criteria, we pay $1.00 per good find. 

If you do well with the initial task, then we'll invite you to source for us for a month, and if you are consistent with your sourcing for that month then we are open to offering you a base pay along with the per item pay above. 

Getting Started With Your Test Task 

There is an example spreadsheet seen in the video above. To get started please Skype me at frontpagefame, and I will send you your own copy of the spreadsheet to use by Google Docs. I'll also be able to assist you and give you feedback by Skype while you're sourcing. 

Delivery of Finds

1. When you contact me on Skype (frontpagefame), we can work together there, and I'll give a link to our online application and give you a copy of the spreadsheet in Google Docs and access to a more detailed orientation of the job. 
2. Please keep track of the total time you spent on this task and let us know what that time was when you complete it. 
3. Please let me know when the spreadsheet is ready for review. 
4. Please be done researching by 6 P.M. Ph time each day.
