How long will this test take before you select people you wanted to hire?
It depends on how well people do. If it's really good I'll hire them officially the first week. Otherwise we could continue the trial for a few weeks to make sure things are working out well.
If hired I will be sourcing daily Monday - Friday, and delivering about 10 or more finds per day correct? Is there a required hours or time to work, or I can work anytime as long as I get to find at least 10 sourced item per day?
You can work anytime and any hours you’d like Mon through Fri. I'm looking for about 10 items sourced per day. We review finds about midnight to 3 AM PH time Mon through Fri.
You should finish by 6 PM PH time though.
Is it advisable to search items that are from the clearance/sale section? Because some of those items usually last for only a few hours or days right?
Yes! Very good idea to use clearance sections. The closer items get to 65% the better they will be for you. There are some items that last for hours--Kmart sale items can sell very fast. Most items will last a few days at least. I would avoid Flash Sales because the items sell out before we can even review them.
After passing the items to you at 6PM PH time, how long will it take before I can get the feedback if the item is good or not?
We start reviewing them in the morning and you'd usually know by about midnight to 3 am your time.
Is it okay if sometimes I find items in one specific category or one specific site?
I'm okay with one category, if you are good at sourcing in it then make it a focus. One site is okay too. I prefer we change things up some, but if it is a really good site, that's okay.
How will I know if the items I sourced are not yet found by other VAs working for you?
You won't. Because everyone is sourcing at once. Right now we do sometimes get duplicates, but we give you credit for it if it's good. We think that's fair.
I would like to clarify first if invoicing is to be done every 2 weeks or month?
Your choice. Every 2 weeks, or every month. We do ask 7-10 work days to pay the invoices though. We pay them in batches.
So how much is the highest price you can pay me in a day if you are paying me per find?
If we are paying you per find and not salary bases then I don't really have a limit. If you found 10 good items that meet our main criteria that would be $28.
How about If I didn't reach 10 items in a day?
It's okay. There are good days and bad days. I just ask to shoot for about 10. I'd rather 4 good items then 8 bad ones. So it's more about quality than quantity.

You have a trial period, right? I am willing to learn everything about sourcing.
Yes, so we usually ask you to source for about a week, and see how things go. If they go well then we'll go ahead and do a full month, and then at that point if it's still good and you like the work then you're officially on the team. However, it’s important that you have experience sourcing already.
Will I be fit for this even if I don't have any experience?
So the honest answer is that someone with experience will be able to do this more easily, BUT I have had many people who say they have experience and not really able to do well at it. And I've had people with little experience learn and do okay. I'm not sure why some people are good and some people aren't so good, I wish I knew. This is a skill that can be learned, but we recommend you have experience already which will help ensure your success.
